SKYWORTH SmartMiniLED


SKYWORTH SmartMiniLED uses advanced Chip-on-glass (COG) Technology and Active-Matrix MiniLED Technology to deliver excellent picture quality while protecting users’ eye health. Firstly, the wiring of COG Technology is 10 times more precise than that of normal printed circuit boards (PCB), so more dimming zones can be created easily. Compared with SKYWORTH MiniLED, the number of dimming zones in SKYWORTH SmartMiniLED is 10 times greater, generating more than 1,000 zones. Secondly, SKYWORTH adopted Active-Matrix MiniLED Technology, instead of traditional Passive Matrix addressing, which causes flickering between zones and sudden brightness that cause eye discomfort. On the other hand, Active-Matrix MiniLED technology ensures each backlight zone is powered by an independent IC, so the column of each zone is always bright, and the TV screen will not display harmful low frequency flickering.

SKYWORTH MiniLED

In an industry first, SKYWORTH MiniLED uses a NCSP MiniLED board. Thanks to the smaller packaging size, more MiniLED backlights are distributed behind the TV screen, resulting in more precise backlight control. With more than 100 local dimming zones, SKYWORTH AI PICTURE QUALITY ENGINE and AI Matrix Dimming, each dimming zone has a dimming variation scale with 4,096 units where dimming can be adapted intelligently in real time to the pictures on the TV screen. Users can easily notice every bright and dark detail as they interchange.
