for High-Quality OLED

OLED Basic Module (OBM) refers to self-manufactured OLED modules, whereby the entire process, from research and development to design, system testing and manufacturing, are completed solely by a TV manufacturer. OBM is a representation of a TV manufacturer’s comprehensive strength in research and development, manufacturing, supply chain and many more. SKYWORTH is China's first TV brand to have the capability and qualifications to develop their own OBMs, and it has obtained over 100 patents for OLED-related technologies. This shows its leading technological prowess, which can be trusted by partners and customers.

Thanks to its OBM technology, SKYWORTH is able to unleash its creativity and create cutting-edge TV designs, while overcoming various technical difficulties such as lamination, heat dissipation, and materials. The end result is an OLED TV as thin as a sheet of wallpaper, which can be seamlessly mounted on a wall, making it a stunning piece whether it is turned on or not. SKYWORTH W81 Series Wallpaper OLED TV is the first Wallpaper TV equipped with SKYWORTH OBM.

Lamination Technology

SKYWORTH pioneers the full-screen lamination technology and has automatic lamination capabilities. It is also in a leading industry position for complex technologies such as ultra-large screen lamination during mass production, ultra-precise lamination and ultra-heavy material lamination.

Heat Dissipation Technology

Harnessing nanotech heat dissipation materials such as graphene and vapor chamber, the thermal conductivity of SKYWORTH TVs can be enhanced by over 20 times as compared to traditional heat dissipation methods. SKYWORTH also leads the industry by creating a design that facilitates heat dissipation within an ultra-small distance of 1 mm through adding a heat dissipation plate to the back cover.

Technologies Behind the Materials

Co-developed by SKYWORTH and LG Display, the raw materials for an EGI back cover has a significantly higher elasticity and rigidity than regular bac cover materials, ensuring the strength and reliability of OLED back cover.

SKYWORTH OBM CSO

SKYWORTH OBM CSO

Leveraging the flexible nature of an OLED screen, the Crystal Sound OLED (CSO) screen sound field is created by the Exciter at the back, which vibrates to produce sounds. Together with a special algorithm, it creates precisely directed sounds that sync beautifully with motion pictures. Newly self-developed ultra-thin Exciter developed by SKYWORTH increases the output sensitivity by 3~5dB, optimizing the performance of audio signals. The 240Hz SKYWORTH S81 Pro OLED TV is the first SKYWORTH CSO TV equipped with OLED basic modules (OBM) developed by SKYWORTH. It uses two CSO channels innovatively to create a sense of sound coming from above. It supports the external Suprav DRUM (a wireless subwoofer) to form the Dolby Atmos Speaker System (DASS), which only a CSO TV supported by SKYWORTH OBM can achieve.

SKYWORTH OBM Transform

SKYWORTH OBM Transform

The first transformable OLED TV by SKYWORTH has been developed using SKYWORTH OBM Transform Technology, which enables the flexibility of the screen without sacrificing its solid foundation. Harnessing a flexible screen equipped with SKYWORTH OBM Transform, an electric bending mechanism allows the transformable screen to perform flexing and bending movements and eliminates displacement issues of the glass and the backplane as the screen transforms its shape. The rear shell of the television is made of 37 pieces of fish-scale shaped telescopic shell pieces, allowing the entire screen to be stretched and transformed to its curved and flat forms freely.

SKYWORTH OBM SLIM

SKYWORTH OBM SLIM

The original modular structure has been enhanced using SKYWORTH OBM SLIM, which adopts the latest OLED V21 Panel. The back plane is made of Metal Composite Material (MCM) offering more effective heat dissipation, replacing the heat sink and the ordinary metal back plane in the original modular structure. In addition, SKYWORTH applied its self-developed unibody stamping technique on the OBM, to create an ultra-slim panel at just 3.9mm thin.

The SKYWORTH S82 Series is the first TV series to adopt the SKYWORTH OBM SLIM technology. A 3% increase in overall illumination efficiency and a 25% increase in heat dissipation efficiency stabilize the performance and lengthen the lifespan of the S82. It is also an industry-first for an OBM to achieve a slimness of 3.9mm.
